WiFi Coverage Extended to JFK International Airport
MAY 10, 2004 JAMAICA, NY –
Today, Concourse Communications extended its airport-based WiFi coverage to include Terminals 8 and 9 at JFK International Airport. They previously announced coverage in the other commercial New York City airports at LaGuardia’s Central Terminal Building and Newark Liberty International’s Terminals A and B. “Almost one-third of the passengers using JFK, the nation’s 14th largest airport, pass through these terminals making them an important addition to our growing footprint,” said Joe Beatty, CEO of Concourse. “As April closes, we continue to see growing demand for WiFi service in our travel hotspots.” Concourse, under its contract with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will continue to expand wireless coverage throughout many of their other transportation venues over the next twelve months.
