Concourse Communications Announces Three New Airport Roaming Agreements

Chicago, IL – December 2, 2003 – Concourse Communications Group, LLC, a leader in the design, installation and operation of neutral-host wireless voice and data networks today announced it had signed Roaming Agreements with another three Wireless ISPs (WISPs) and Aggregators: iPass, STSN and Boingo.

“We are pleased to add iPass, STSN and Boingo to our list of roaming partners, thereby significantly increasing the number of potential users in our WiFi-enabled airports,” said Dick Snyder, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Concourse. “This brings the number of roaming partners to a total of four, including Sprint, with an expectation that the number will continue to grow over the next several weeks.”

“By the end of this year, there will be more than 10,000 commercial hotspot locations in the US -- and more than 45,000 globally. Of these locations, airports are among the most valuable. Yet these hotspots are still largely fragmented geographically and vertically. Every roaming agreement is a step forward in making these networks more useful to consumers,” says John Yunker, Analyst, Pyramid Research

”Concourse Communication's neutral host model is the key to enabling a competitive and creative variety of consumer-focused Wi-Fi networks. The neutral host model is a win-win scenario for both the venue, driving the maximum number of visitors, and the operator, driving maximum usage,” Mr. Yunker adds.
